New CEOP Education Ambassador Programme

We are proud of our CEOP Ambassador programme which has been running for over 15 years.

Over this time, our CEOP Ambassadors have delivered training to thousands of professionals, who, in turn have helped to keep children and young people safer from the threat of online child sexual abuse.

We value feedback from our network and constantly strive to ensure the training and support we provide continues to meet your needs.

Our CEOP Ambassadors have given their views about the current programme and how we could make this better for them, and for those who wish to train as Ambassadors in the future.

We listened, made some changes, and are delighted to present our new CEOP Education Ambassadors programme, which we hope will have a positive and measurable impact in helping to prevent online child sexual abuse.

New CEOP Education Ambassador Programme

The aim of the new programme is for CEOP Education Ambassadors to become the lead within their organisation and networks for training, information and advice on online child sexual abuse.

Education Ambassadors will help integrate primary prevention of online child sexual abuse into a whole-organisation approach to safeguarding within their setting, and settings they work closely with.

As a result, it is vital that those wishing to train as a CEOP Education Ambassador meet the new membership requirements. To read these, and for more information on the role, please take a look at the new CEOP Education Ambassador Role Profile.

Please note, if you would like to train as a CEOP Education Ambassador, you must meet the new membership requirements and have attended, or be booked to attend, our Understanding Online Child Sexual Abuse course.

For more information on the Ambassador training, and to book a training date, please visit our training pages.

We look forward to training some of you as CEOP Education Ambassadors soon.
