What is it?

A research report summarising insights from 80 Barnardos practitioners around the effects of social media on children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing. 

The report includes statistics on:

  • Children’s exposure to unsuitable or harmful content
  • Cyberbullying
  • Grooming

It notes that that 78% of practitioners had worked with children aged 11-15 who had been groomed online.
