Let children know you're listening: resources

What is it?

To help you make sure that children always feel listened to when disclosing abuse, the NSPCC has published an animation and poster which set out key skills to embed in your practice when responding to a disclosure. Both are available in English and Welsh languages.

The information in these resources is informed by research conducted into adults' experiences of responding to disclosures and children' views on what makes good or poor listening skills.
