Share Aware

The NSPCC have launched a campaign to encourage parents to feel as confident in keeping their children safe online as they do offline.

Share Aware takes a straightforward approach, giving parents advice and information about social networks and apps their young people may be using. Share Aware also provides useful ways parents can start conversations with children to encourage an open dialogue about their behaviour online. Share Aware highlights an NSPCC online safety helpline for parents to use for additional advice and guidance.

Share Aware also features engaging ideas and activities for lessons which are designed to be used by teachers and educational professionals. The activities focus on the topics of imaging sharing and chatting to people online.
