What is it?
Statutory guidance on what schools in England should do when teaching Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE), and Health Education. It also sets out the legal duties they must comply with.
It sets out what children should be taught in each subject by the end of primary and secondary school. It also covers:
- Developing relationships and RSE policy
- Engaging with parents and the wider community
- Delivering the subject
- Safeguarding children
