What is it
This non-statutory advice aims to support designated safeguarding leads (or equivalents) and senior leadership teams in education settings in England in responding effectively to incidents involving the sharing of nudes and semi-nudes.

How to use it
You can use the guidance to help you:
- risk assess incidents
- safeguard and support children and young people
- handle devices and imagery
- record incidents including role of other agencies
- provide education on the sharing of nudes and semi-nudes
Who can use it
This advice is for designated safeguarding leads (DSLs), their deputies, headteachers and senior leadership teams in schools and educational establishments in England.
